RATES & REGISTRATIONS
The workshop will be a hybrid event, and the registration fees are equal for in-person and remote participation. CIRED really favors in-person events and encourages anyone interested in participating in the workshop to come to Porto. Keynote speeches and oral sessions will be exclusively in-person. The poster tours will be organized in person, with the possibility for authors participating remotely to record a video presentation available for all participants.
For those unable to travel to Porto this June, CIRED will provide a high-performance online platform with live streaming, recordings, presentations, Q&A, chat and posters. This platform and its features will also be accessible to the in-person participants.
As we know it can be difficult to be sure of what will be possible for you next June, our hybrid package registration is flexible and you can switch from in-person to online or from online to in-person very simply by sending us an email.
Special requirements for authors presenting a paper
They will be exclusively organized in-person. If you are selected for an oral presentation, the presenter must be in Porto for the presentation. If nor you, nor one of your co-authors is able to travel to Porto, your oral presentation will be moved to the poster session and a replacement will be found for the oral session.
We really favor the in-person poster session. It is strongly recommended to authors who are able to travel to Porto to be there to take part in the lively poster session. In case nor the presenter, nor the co-authors is able to travel to Porto, we can propose the possibility to take part in the virtual poster session with a poster file and a 3-minute video presentation.
Registration for the workshop entitles participants to
- attend all the workshop sessions
- participate in the discussions
- access the proceedings (full papers) online in advance of the conference
- access the online platform (live streams, recordings, Q&A, etc.)
- the delegate package handed out upon registration
- participate in the welcome reception on Thursday 2 June (1 person)
- the workshop presentations/recordings of the event
- access morning and afternoon refreshments
- access lunches
Each participant (including authors) will have to pay a registration fee to take part in the hybrid workshop.

Please note that registrations will close on 26 May, please register before this date.
*Early and late rates : To be granted the early rate, registration and payment must be received on or before 13 April 2022. After this date, the late rate is applicable. Late rates must be received by 26 May 2022, after this date an extra charge of 80 € per registration will be applied. In any case, the payment must reach us before the event. Purchase orders are not considered as confirmed payments.
**PHD student rate: a proof of student status is requested (e.g. copy of student card) during the registration process.
Authors: authors of accepted papers must register and pay the registration fee by 18 April to confirm the presentation of their paper. The participation and registration of the main author or one of the co-authors in the conference is mandatory to present and publish the paper. Every accepted and presented paper will published on the IET digital library
They will be Scopus indexed and available on IEEE Xplore.

Invitation letters for authors of accepted papers are downloadable through the submission/registration website, on your overview page. Please note that invitation letters will be available as soon as your paper is accepted.

We offer you the possibility to pay online (credit cards, debit cards, online systems) through a secured website or by bank transfer. We encourage online payments as they are immediate. In contrast, bank transfers might take long internal procedures to be processed, it is the participant’s responsibility to ensure the payment arrives in accordance with the deadlines. Purchase orders are not considered as payments.
After completion of the registration form, an automatic invoice is sent to the specified email address (invoicing details and address can be introduced in the form).

CANCELLATION – REPLACEMENT – REFUND
In the event of cancellation and provided that written notice is received by 1 May 2022 at the latest, a refund of 80 % of the conference registration fee will be made. The report of the registration fee for another person will be accepted at any time before the workshop provided that the secretariat is notified in advance. After 1 May 2022, no refund will be provided.
